Jasiri Jungle - Supporting Children with Cancer
Jasiri Jungle International is a Kenyan-based non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by children with cancer. Our efforts focus on ensuring that no child battles cancer alone, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
“Jasiri” means “courage” in Swahili, and the event is aptly named to honor the immense courage displayed by young cancer warriors in their battle against this formidable adversary.
Cancer remains a critical healthcare issue worldwide, with children and their families facing significant emotional, financial, and medical challenges when dealing with this life-threatening disease.
There is an urgent need for different sectors to come together and set up effective ways of dealing with childhood cancer in Kenya.
